Gus, Walt’s greatest adversary, doesn’t seem to have a weak spot. Unlike Walt, he has nerves of steel; he’s controlled, disciplined, strategic, and flexible in the pursuit of his goals.

Except… for his hatred of Hector (which in flashbacks we see his good reasons for) and his need for revenge which, in true Gus style, is a dish he eats cold, over time. Finally, after much probing, Walt finds this weakness - that Gus, if provoked, would not be able to resist taking his revenge on Hector in person - and uses it to do in Gus.
